Enchantment teachers in Skyrim: what they give, where to find them? Helpful teachers from Skyrim Who can teach shooting in Skyrim.

So what am I talking about? Oh yes, alchemy teachers. Let's go in order:

Lami

This lady lives in Morthal, in the house of her husband, Jorgen, the owner of a sawmill. Not to say that she is very capable, but, hmm-hmm, she can tell a beginner a lot and teach simple alchemical wisdom. To begin with, however, you will have to appease her a little. But this is not a difficult task - you just need to bring her the book “The Alchemist’s Song”. You can find her in Anise's Hut. Beware of grandma. And before you give the book away, read it, you won’t regret it.

Arcadia

Lives in Whiterun, in his own house, combined with an alchemy shop. She is quite knowledgeable in the art of alchemy and is less picky than Lami. There is, however, one peculiarity: working in a shop leaves its mark. From Arcadia you will hear more than once about hundreds of diseases that haunt you, but do not give in. This is just a way to sell a couple of potions. But that’s not what you’re going to see her for, right? By the way, if you take frost salt to her at Farengar’s request and become Thane of Whiterun, you can buy a Daedra heart in her shop. And this, I tell you, is a rather rare alchemical ingredient. So it's worth the money.

Babette

Oh, it's better for you not to know her at all. Because otherwise, you will have to join the Dark Brotherhood. And this is not at all the best way to spend time... for many honest alchemists, at least. In addition, she is a vampire, although she is a potion master, and such that you will not find anything else in Skyrim. But if it’s really hot, go to Dawnstar, where their lair is located. And don't even ask how I know about this.

Many modern players are familiar with The Elder Scrolls line of games. Its fifth part was a huge success. "Skyrim" still attracts players with its capabilities, for example, in the field of pumping up various skills. Today we will talk about teachers. Who is this? What are they needed for? What do they give? Is it possible to take a teacher as a partner? And if so, how to do it?

A mentor is...

The Elder Scrolls V has the ability to passively level up skills. For this purpose, so-called mentors were invented in the game world of Skyrim. They may be called teachers.

Skyrim initially provides the following types of mentors:

  • adept - improve skill by 50 units;
  • expert - increases skill by 75 points;
  • master - allow you to improve your skill by 90 units.

Sometimes in the virtual world it is not possible to find adept mentors, but there should be no problems with other “teachers”.

For a fee, a player can take several lessons of a particular skill. The higher the skill level, the more expensive the classes will be, so Dovahkiin will have to stock up on coins.

About enchantment

A few words about the Enchantment skill in The Elder Scrolls V. Not every Dovahkiin skill will be useful.

"Enchantment" is a skill that helps to apply various enchantments to in-game items. You can create passive and active enchantments that help you progress through the game and fight enemies.

Enchantment is upgraded either independently (by casting spells on equipment) or with the help of mentors. The second option is not as simple as it seems, because in Skyrim there are not many teachers of each direction. Moreover, when leveling up skills through “teachers” the player will face some restrictions. But more about them later.

What types of enchantment trainers are there?

There are only three enchantment teachers in Skyrim. At the same time, the player does not have the opportunity to communicate with adept mentors. Such masters are simply not provided for in the virtual world of Skyrim.

Here are the enchantment teachers you might encounter in the game:

  • Sergius Turrian (expert);
  • Hamal (master);
  • Nelot (master).

Important: to learn certain skills, Dovahkiin needs not only to stock up on money, but also to remember certain restrictions. For each increased skill level, the player is allowed to take 5 lessons from a mentor.

Accordingly, it is possible to raise the corresponding skill in enchantment to level 100, but using such an operation is problematic.

Sergius Turrian

Now a few words about each teacher. First, let's meet Sergius Turrian. This is the first enchantment mentor that Dovahkiin can meet.

Imperial, instructor in This character can easily train the player to the “Expert” level, so after that you will have to turn to master mentors.

  • "At the beck and call of the enchanter";
  • "Stocks of soul stones."

Hamal

The next enchantment teacher in Skyrim is Hamal. This is a girl from the Nordic race, she is a priestess of the temple of Dibella, located in Markarth. A cute girl-mentor will help develop Dovahkiin's enchanting skills.

Unfortunately, before the training option becomes available to the player, he will have to complete the quest "The Heart of Dibella". Without it, Hamal will not develop Enchantment with Dovahkiin.

Where can I get the corresponding quest? Hamal gives him away. To start the task, you need to catch the eye of the priestess. She will accuse the player of interrupting an important ritual. Next, Dovahkiin can either kill Hamal and other priestesses, or help the women and thereby atone for his guilt. After choosing the second option, the quest “Heart of Dibella” will begin.

Nelot

The last enchantment teacher in Skyrim is Neloth. Long-lived lord of the House of Telvania.

You can find this character in the Tel Mithryn tower. Neloth teaches Dovahkiin enchantment to the maximum level. It is this mentor who will replace Hamal if the character previously killed the priestess in the temple.

Allies and Mentors

Are there any enchantment teachers in Skyrim who you can take as allies? No. All the characters we have studied will not follow Dovahkiin and help him fight his opponents.

However, teachers still act as allies. For example, during the passage of certain tasks, both Hamal and Sergius give various advice, and at these moments they can indirectly be considered allies.

Why are teachers needed?

In addition to the usual pumping up when using skills in, they can also be pumped up from mentors by paying a certain amount of gold for this. Each teacher is assigned a specific rank:

  • Adept - raises skill level to 50;
  • Expert - teaches up to level 75 inclusive;
  • Master - with its help you can level up your skill to 90.

Then, unfortunately, you will have to progress on your own; even books will not help. The process is complicated by the fact that from 90 to 100 the skill grows extremely slowly. This is more than compensated for: the most “delicious” perks of any skill are located right at the top.

The game has a limit: for each character level you can take no more than five lessons of all skills in total. There are also a couple of ways to cheat to make leveling easier for yourself.

The first method is to take two lessons, then steal money from the mentor from the inventory. In this way you can save a decent amount of money, which would be better spent on equipment. Some teachers are very difficult to rob, so it will be easier to slip a Paralysis potion into your pocket and take out the money while the NPC is limited in his capabilities.

The second method is to complete all the quests of the Companions and become the most important among them. After this, any of the comrades can be taken as partners. The money that your character pays for the lesson is given voluntarily by the NPC from his inventory.

It should be borne in mind that leveling up a character occurs through leveling up skills. And if you can still level up level 100 this way and that, then things get tough: if you want to level up your character, you have to completely retrain, using skills, equipment and studying professions that you don’t like at all.

Regarding teachers, it should also be noted that access to some of them can only be obtained after completing the corresponding quests and opening locations. There are several teachers who do not sit still, but constantly roam within the city limits, so it can be difficult to find them - unless you meet them by chance.

Enchantment

The skill allows you to enchant an object by placing a suitable enchantment on it: enhancing attack for weapons or protection for armor. The pinnacle of mastery is two powerful spells on one object at once. The power of the spell cast depends on the level of the enchanter. Teachers:

  • Adept - there is no mentor;
  • Expert - Sergius Turrian from the College of Winterhold;
  • Master - Hamal in the Inner Sanctum of the Temple of Dibella and Neloth in the Tower of Tell Mirin (Dragonborn only).

The pinnacle of skill is a power attack that paralyzes the enemy hit. Teachers:

  • Adept - Amren from Whiterun;
  • Expert - Atis of Jorrvaskr;

  • Adept - absent;
  • Expert - Majad from Mulran's Khajiit Caravan;
  • The Master is Vex from The Wild Flask.

In dialogue, you can convince, intimidate, bribe your opponent, or start a fight with him. When you activate the last skill in the branch, an additional 1000 coins will appear in the inventory of each merchant - very useful after a long trip for loot. Teachers:

  • Adept - Dromarash from Akari's Khajiit Caravan and Revin Sardi from Sardi's Second Hand Merchandise;
  • Expert - Ogmund from Markarth;
  • Master - Giraud Zhiman from the College of Bards.

  • Adept - knowledgeable in the swamps of the Argonian block;
  • Expert - Grelha from "Helga's Nochlezhka";
  • Master - Nazir from the Vault of the Dark Brotherhood.

  • Expert - Garol from Dushnik-Yala;
  • Master - Farkas from Jorrvaskr and Izran from Fort Dawnguard (DLC Dragonborn).

  • Expert - Dravinia the Carver from Wooden Lace;
  • Master - Tolfdir from the College of Winterhold.

In total, there are 18 skills available in the game, which can be improved, including with the help of teachers. However, this is not necessary: all this swings perfectly without outside help with the right approach.

Skyrim is the fifth Elder Scrolls game, which has a whole large gaming universe. The character, according to the tradition established in the epic, begins as a prisoner, and begins to explore the vast expanses of the game after being accidentally released. As a result, he is destined to fight rivals using magic, bows and swords, search for a variety of artifacts in the Nordic ruins and carry out orders from ordinary citizens and heads of factions. In the process, the protagonist cannot survive without upgrading his combat, magical and other skills. If you cannot do this on your own, then skills teachers can help you.

Mechanics Skills Teachers

When a character needs to raise a skill, but there is not enough materials or time to level it up, skill teachers solve this problem in Skyrim. These characters are found throughout the game world and for a certain amount of money they immediately increase the selected skill by one.

Each skill teacher has its own gradation - “Master”, “Expert” or “Adept”.

For adepts, the Dragonborn can increase the skill to a maximum of 50 units, for expert teachers - up to 75, and masters can increase the skill to a maximum of 90 units. Once a character raises a teacher's skill to the maximum level, he will need to look for a teacher with higher qualifications. The character will have to get the skill to 100 on his own. The game also has a special limitation for learning skills for money - at each level, the protagonist can receive no more than five skill upgrades for a fee.
