  • the signature module processes its parameters (amplitude, frequency and periodicity of pulses, pauses between pulses);
  • checks the parameters with known signatures of police equipment loaded into the database;
  • identifies the signal as a traffic police radar signal or as extraneous noise;
  • warns the driver to slow down.

That is, radar detectors are able to distinguish frequency pulses from traffic police control equipment and distinguish it from other frequency signals - emissions from door opening systems, mobile operator translators, ABS and GPS systems of cars, etc. This is the main advantage and advantage of signature radars.
