The “Promised Payment” service can be used by any subscriber with more than 3 months of experience in the network. This limitation is related to the company’s level of trust in you and the period is quite modest. There will be no additional costs due to the use of the service, and payment deferment is given for a period of 5 days. You can receive the promised payment in your personal account, so if you are not registered there yet, now is the time to fix it. Let's go to Rostelecom website and click on “Register” under the “Login” button. If you are already registered on the site, then just log in. At the first stage, enter the desired username and password.


Enter your last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth and region


The last step is to provide your email address and your phone number. Please provide real information as confirmation of your account activation will be sent there.

After confirmation of activation, you can log in and indicate the Internet contract number. Find the line “I want to manage services in my Personal Account” and click on it, and then in the list find “promised payment”, that’s what we need. Enter the amount you want to borrow. Please note that it should not be less than your monthly Internet subscription fee. After this, your balance is replenished with this exact amount and you can again use the Internet in full. “Trust payment” or “Promised payment” is a very useful service for subscribers, which allows them to avoid disconnecting communications in case of exhaustion of funds. If for some reason you did not pay for Rostelecom services on time, and there is no required amount in your personal account, then you will continue to stay in touch for some time. The service is valid for 5 days, and from 10 to 100 rubles are charged from the account, depending on the amount specified when connecting the service. Each activation costs 5 rubles.

The company gives the subscriber the right to use the service no more than twice within one month. After the service expires or the debt is repaid, automatic disconnection occurs. The amount of the “Trust Payment” will appear in the overall balance. The service is activated instantly.

How to set up a promised payment by Rostelecom

  1. Make a call to the toll-free number 8-800-300-18-00. The technical support operator will help you take the promised payment, but only if you provide your passport information.
  2. Make a USSD request: dial *122*1# and press call. The amount of the promised payment, subject to the successful completion of the transaction, will be credited to your balance literally within two to three minutes.
  3. Send an SMS message containing the text to number 100 17*[promised_payment_amount]. Specify the amount of the promised payment strictly in numbers without spaces.
  4. Make a call to number 100*17. Following the instructions from the auto-informer, record the amount of the promised payment
  5. Activate the service using the Personal Account service on the Rostelecom website.

The minimum amount of a trust payment is 10 rubles, and the maximum may not exceed 100 rubles.

In order for a subscriber to be able to connect to the service, he must meet a number of requirements: be connected to the network for at least two months, the total amount of accruals made must be at least 200 rubles, and he must also have no receivables, or their period should not exceed 15 days. For subscribers of Rostelecom credit tariff plans, the ability to activate this service is not provided.

When Rostelecom reaches a zero or negative balance, you can use the short-term option of a trusted (or promised) payment - it is provided to all subscribers of the company who have met a number of conditions.

This service implies that communication will not be limited for several days, giving you the opportunity to pay the subscription fee a little later if you are unable to pay at the time the debt arises.

In fact, this is a mini-loan, only without interest and commissions, which allows you to exhaust yourself on communication services so that access to them is not blocked until you repay it and the subscription fee.

The promised payment may be different and it can be connected in several ways, depending on what exactly you are using from Rostelecom.

This is a temporary option - when the loan expires, the connection is blocked again, therefore, by taking out such a loan, you are automatically obligated to repay the debt during its validity period. Otherwise, there may not be access to the Internet, TV or mobile calls and SMS.

Payment has two forms - automatic and manual. A manual payment is taken when it has not become a monthly practice for you, and you use it for great need. This can be done at any time. The automatic form means that when a certain date or negative balance is reached, the loan is credited without your request, and provides you with the use of communications for a couple of days on your own.

The duration of some types of promised payments may depend on your status in the OnLime.Bonus system (from 3 to 14 days).

What can you borrow from Rostelecom for?

The promised payment is available for connection among subscribers using the Internet from the company (in Moscow - and from OnLime), TV or mobile communications.

How to connect “Promised Payment” to the Internet and TV

If you have Internet and television connected to Rostelecom, the credit option can be activated in two ways (note - information for OnLime subscribers, check conditions by region with Rostelecom technical support):

  1. Through the system's Personal Account - the most convenient way if you bothered to connect to this service before your balance went into negative territory.

To do this you need:

  • Be registered in the system - this is usually done when connecting to the Internet and TV;
  • go to the website https://www.onlime.ru (for those connected to OnLime) or https://lk.rt.ru/

  • Click “Pay” and select the personal account to which you want to connect the service.

Activation and validity period will be indicated on the screen after agreeing to the terms of the offer. Depending on your status in the Online bonus system, payment may be available for 3, 5 days or two weeks. The choice of term will be available upon activation.

You can connect the promised payment via SMS request only for 3 days (for OnLime).

To order, you need to send an SMS message, the text of which will read “Online OP”. The number for sending is 2558 (OnLime). SMS is sent free of charge. The phone number must be linked to your personal Internet or TV account.

Postpaid subscribers already use communications as if on credit, and they are given 20 days to pay the bill, but they can also request this option (provided there is no 60-day debt). But for prepaid tariffs, credit is the only way not to be left with blocked mobile capabilities if you did not manage to top up your account for the month on time.

Payment for mobile communications is valid for 5 days. The limits on the amount are the same as with an Internet connection.

The easiest way, available even with a zero balance, is to call technical support. You can contact 8‑800‑10‑00‑800 or 8-800-300-18-02. The service can be activated either through direct communication with an assistant manager or through an automatic menu.

The fastest way to order a “promise” is to send a short command.

In Rostelecom, the following combination is used for an application: *100*17#. Don't forget to press the call button after entering. You must dial from the number for which you are ordering the option.

Voice menu

When you activate the option within an hour, the block on your personal account will be lifted for the number of days that turned out to be available to you under the terms of the service.

If during the validity period of the OP you do not cover the debt and subscription fee, the connection will be blocked until the balance is replenished.

The Rostelecom company does not provide the promised mobile payment to all subscribers. To connect it, you must be a user of cellular communications from this operator for at least 2 months. The amount of your monthly calls costs also plays a role. If you spend less than 200 rubles per month, the company will not provide you with a loan.

The current account balance also plays a role. If you have been in the red for more than 15 days, or the debt exceeds 10 rubles, you will be denied a loan for communications. Therefore, it is better not to reach such a state. If you know that you will not be able to top up your account in the near future, it is better to apply for a “Promised Payment” from Rostelecom for mobile communications in advance. This amount will also be debited from you automatically as soon as you top up your account. Moreover, she will be written off first. For example, your balance is zero and you borrow 50 rubles from RTK, and after some time you top up your account with 50 rubles. Calling the hotline is, of course, free. But if you already have a negative balance on your account, you will not be able to contact specialists. Alternatively, you can call from another phone and dictate your number to activate the service.

With the transition of all Rostelecom mobile clients under the banner of TELE2 with the registration of many previously familiar services, confusion arose.
