We've already talked about how to improve the performance of Bethesda Games Studios' new project, and now it's time to talk about improving graphics using ENB and ReShade effects.

For those who do not understand what these graphic frameworks are, let us make a small remark. ENB and ReShade are actually sets of shaders that allow you to implement many high-tech effects in the game, such as Depth of Field, Bloom and others. Conventionally, all shaders presented in each preset can be divided into two types - those that correct the original post-processing and, in fact, new effects.

This material will highlight the most popular and high-quality presets that can be used in Fallout 4 to improve graphics. You can also find links to the corresponding pages of the NexusMods repository, where you can quickly download them, as well as get comprehensive information from the creators of these mods.

During the modification we will need frameworks. In order not to insert a large number of links into the main text, we present them below:

Before we begin, it is worth noting that each preset puts a certain load on the computer, since in addition to rendering the game image, your video card and processor also receive an additional load in the form of a bunch of shaders. The more effects, the more complex they are, the more your system is loaded. However, some effect configurations are in a sense “gentle” and do not require first-class components; we will also touch on them in this article.

VOGUE ENB

This set of shaders is currently the most popular among players. According to the description, it aims to make graphics Fallout 4 is more realistic and atmospheric. In order to achieve this, the author uses a large number of effects from different sets:

  • Color correction (ENB);
  • Depth of field (ENB);
  • Lighting effects (ENB);
  • Highlights (ENB);
  • Glow (ENB);
  • Anti-aliasing SMAA (ReShade);
  • Sharpening (ReShade);

Please note that when using VOGUE ENB you will be using its built-in SMAA anti-aliasing, so you will need to turn off native anti-aliasing in the game settings and driver settings, otherwise you will experience extremely high system resource consumption. This is true for all presets that add their own anti-aliasing.

According to the developer, when working on the preset, he tried to minimize the consumption of computer resources. However, there are many effects here, and tests show that, in general, resource intensity can be assessed as average. The mod loads the processor and video card approximately equally.

VOGUE ENB is available in three configurations, which mainly differ in color correction methods. The screenshot shows the basic version (STANDARD), which has moderately muted colors, but is generally similar to the default color scheme used in the game. The author offers two alternative schemes, one of which makes the game as dark and faded as possible (DEAD version), and the second, on the contrary, brings more lively, bright colors (VIVID version).

Installation instructions:

  • mod and unpack it into the main game directory (where the Fallout4.exe executable file is located);
  • Download the archive with the latest ENB kit (0.289 at the time of writing), unpack two files from it (d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll) into the same folder;
  • Download the archive with the latest version of ReShade and SweetFX and extract the ReShade64.dll file from it into the same folder;
  • Configure enblocal.ini in accordance with your RAM and video memory configuration (we mentioned this in detail in the previous one);
Now the mod is installed, you can load the save and admire the updated picture. To turn ReShade effects on and off, use the Scroll Lock key. You can also manually adjust the effects by pressing the Shift+Enter key combination. All changes are immediately visible on the screen, and to save them there is an “Apply Changes” button at the very top.

Xtreme CinemaX with LFX

As you might have guessed from the name, this modification is aimed at transforming the graphics of the game without any discounts on resource consumption. So we do not recommend installation for those who do not have a top-end video card in the system unit for fabulous money.

But everyone else will certainly appreciate this preset, since it is perhaps one of the most beautiful presented at the moment. It’s not for nothing that the author proudly calls it cinematic, because it really looks great both on video and on screenshots.

  • Download the archive with the latest ENB kit, unpack two files from it (d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll) into the same folder;
  • the LFX component (at the time of writing, version 0.4) and install using Nexus Mod Manager, which we also wrote about in the previous article;
  • Place LFX at the very bottom of the NMM download list (Plugins tab);
  • main archive with the main Xtreme CinemaX mod, and unpack its contents into the game folder.
Since this graphics modification primarily loads the video card, we highly recommend using ENBoost, detailed information about which can be found in the previous article. It not only describes how this useful tool works, but also provides descriptions of its customizable parameters with a sample design.

However, practice shows that not everyone will be comfortable playing with such graphics. It looks, of course, great, but it is not only distracting and quite blurry, but in general it is more suitable for creating screenshots and videos, and not for constant use. If anything, we've warned you.

RealShade

A much more down-to-earth preset in every sense, the author of which did not try to outdo the previous candidate in the number of “heavy” effects used. Instead, he presented players with a simple, but quite beautiful combination of ENB and ReShade. Below is a list of graphic tools that come with RealShade:

  • Color correction (ENB);
  • Depth of field (ENB is used for close-in objects, and ReShade slightly blurs the distant surroundings);
  • SMAA anti-aliasing (ReShade).

That is, no light reflections or other frills, only the most useful and necessary for making a picture Fallout 4 is more juicy and gives it depth with Depth of Field. Thanks to the judicious use of a limited number of effects, the author was able to reduce the requirements on computer resources to a minimum.

During the tests, this was only confirmed: a decrease in frame rate is observed only in urban areas and amounts to 4-5 fps. At the same time, the graphics are strikingly different from those found in the game by default.

Installation instructions:

  • Download the archive with the latest version of ReShade and SweetFX and unpack it into the same folder;
    Rename the ReShade64.dll file to dxgi.dll;
  • Delete the file Reshade32.dll;
  • archive with the mod and unpack it into the game folder (overwrite matching files).
If you do not have the most powerful computer, then we recommend installing this mod.

Light ENB with DOF

If you don't want to change the color palette of the original and play without anti-aliasing, then you'll probably like this mod. In fact, it only uses depth of field and slightly adjusts contrast and brightness, keeping resource consumption to a minimum.

This is also confirmed by tests that show almost no impact on frame rates. Of course, there is nothing here other than DoF, but often people install ENB solely because of it.

The installation is also quite simple:

  • Download the archive with the latest ENB kit, unpack the files from the “Wrapper version” folder into the directory where the game is installed;
  • archive with the mod and unpack it into the same folder.

Nostalgia Preset

Simply an amazing combination of ENB and ReShade, which changes the visuals of the game so that it looks like footage from the movie Sin City. Those who have ever watched this film probably remember its unusual black and white picture interspersed with individual colors. It was she who was inspired by the author when he decided to completely drown out all colors except red.

The rest of the effects that were used in Nostalgia Preset also confirm the desire to create a cinematic image in which grain and a peculiar contrast are clearly visible.

Of course, not everyone will seriously play with such visuals, but if you like to just walk around and take screenshots with or without reason, and then post them somewhere or make a collage, then you should take a closer look at this preset.

However, the red filter is one of two options. The standard version of Nostalgie Preset offers the user only a black and white palette.

Installation instructions:

  • Download the archive with the latest version of ReShade and SweetFX and unpack it into the game folder;
  • Delete the file ReShade32.dll;
  • Rename the ReShade64.dll file to dxgi.dll;
  • Download the archive with the latest ENB kit, unpack the d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll files from the “Wrapper version” folder into the directory where the game is installed;
  • one of the versions of the mod and unpack it into the game folder, replacing the files.
That's it, the mod is installed! By the way, it is quite demanding on hardware, as it includes a large number of effects, the full list of which we will not provide for reasons of brevity. In general, the load can be assessed as average.

So, it's time to take stock. We looked at five different shader presets, among which were both powerful and voluminous, as well as relatively light and accessible to owners of not the most powerful systems. Thus, we will briefly describe all the considered configurations:

  • VOGUE ENB- a lot of effects and a nice picture that doesn’t distract from the game, the requirements are above average;
  • Xtreme CinemaX with LFX- a heavyweight that will surely squeeze all the juice out of your car, but at the same time produce incomparable graphics;
  • RealShade ENB- the golden mean in our list, which includes only all the essentials: color correction, depth of field and high-quality anti-aliasing;
  • Light ENB with DOF- an option for those who do not have a powerful processor or a top-end video card, but want to play with the Depth of Field effect;
  • Nostalgia Preset- a semi-joking effects kit that will make Fallout 4, a black and white game, also includes a version that recreates the style of the Sin City movie.
Of course, these are not all mods that allow the game to use shaders. There are many others that you can check out for yourself via the link. The installation principle is always approximately the same, but we still advise you to read the descriptions carefully so as not to accidentally make a mistake and ruin your evening by spending it searching for an error. Although sometimes this cannot be avoided, everything comes with experience.

On this optimistic note, the modding section Fallout 4 says goodbye until next Tuesday. Write in the comments what mods you would like to see in the next article. And of course we are waiting for your screenshots in the comments!

Have you explored the wasteland inside and out? It's time to change it.

There are people who play games, and there are those who constantly remake them. Selecting one for Fallout 4 is quite a difficult task, because at the moment there are already thousands of different projects from talented modders changing, improving and adding variety to Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG, released in 2015. However, we have tried to collect the most outstanding of them in one list. The selection will be updated as new worthy mods are released.

As always, please carefully read each mod's requirements and installation instructions, as well as compatibility with the latest version of Fallout 4, before downloading them.

Even after you've cleared out every piece of trash in your community, it still looks like a landfill, doesn't it? That's because there are a lot of things you can't remove: mounds of dirt, piles of rubble, and weeds that have broken through the concrete. Spring Cleaning allows you to remove all these things that you hate, making real order possible in your city.

It adds a lot of new items for use in your settlement, such as cars, military vehicles, furniture, decorations and many more things that should have been available when built in the first place.

Download

There is a settlement in Fallout 4 where you can find robots programmed to do gardening. Unlike other settlements, they sow here not on the ground, but on special small plantations located next to each other. This mod allows you to build these plantations on all other settlements. They react to this in different ways, either “Well, who cares anyway?”, or “Yes, damn it, this is exactly what I needed!”

Mods for building settlements and crafting

Download

This mod from user kinggath offers a completely new way to build settlements, introducing into the game a system similar to what we saw in SimCity: you divide your settlement into several districts (residential, commercial, industrial and rural), and the inhabitants build their own houses and warehouses, while also doing housekeeping. Your settlement will grow as NPCs begin to make changes to their homes, without you having to keep track of every little detail like the choice of furniture or the color of the walls.

This is a rotorcraft you can live in. It doesn't technically fly - it's more of a way to quickly move around the map, but you can create landing zones throughout the map and move between them. The living quarters are quite small, and the vertibird's engine needs to be cooled regularly, but it's still a cozy place to live, with a handy crafting bench and powerful turrets for scaring off neighbors.

Download

Place Everywhere allows you to place previously static objects like workbenches anywhere on the map, making the building process much easier. In addition, you can build anywhere - in trees, on the surface of water, and even inside other objects. Red alerts are a thing of the past. The mod requires the Fallout Script Extender utility, which can be found at the end of the list.

Tired of carrying everything you can get your hands on back to your settlement? This mod will help you. Make beacons, take them with you, and when your inventory gets full during your adventures, simply put all the excess in a container and equip it with a beacon for the inhabitants of your settlement to take it. They will stack everything near your workbench, which will save you a lot of time.

Download

Considering that Fallout 4 places a huge emphasis on construction, it's surprising that Bethesda didn't think of something like this themselves. This mod allows you to create villagers right in your workshop. Synthetic inhabitants. Turn off your beacon, because now you can populate your outposts with friendly (or not so friendly) synths created by your own hands.

Download

Building power lines in your village in Fallout 4 has become much easier after the release of a mod by Daedragon. Since you use leaky metal (or wood) walls to build houses, why not run wires through them? This mod greatly simplifies the issue of energy supply by replacing standard power lines with compact wires. They can even be stretched across roofs.

Download

Need to hide for a while from the dead eyes of the local settlers? Basement Living adds 10 self-contained basements and bunkers as your own cozy retreat spaces. You can place a basement in any settlement, and each one comes complete with a 100 power electrical panel and a workbench, so you can do whatever you want there.

Conquest

Download

Now you don't have to stick to the settlements featured in Fallout 4, because now you can make your own almost anywhere you want. This mod adds campsites that can be placed anywhere you want, and if you are lucky with the location, it can be upgraded to a full-fledged settlement. You can create and destroy up to ten new settlements.

It's nice that factions give you a place to live when you join them, but what they offer is usually not something you want to waste your time on. This series of mods turns these faction handouts into much more beautiful and spacious dwellings, with workbenches, a hall, pleasant decorations and plenty of free space. Available for Vault 81, Prydwen, the Railroad, the Castle, and The Institute.

Download

If you are using the Contraptions Workshop DLC for Fallout 4, then you will definitely want to install this mod, which significantly improves the factories in your settlements. It adds a number of logical features, such as conveyor belts that accept any garbage directly from inventory, and return full-fledged items.

There are also new machines, such as a loom for creating bunker clothing and faction outfits, forges for heavy armor, ranged and melee weapons, and a distillery where you can create cola and booze. There is even a machine for processing corpses (including human ones) into meat, bones and skin.

Download

The settlers who come to the call on the radio are usually... boring. Most of them are dressed approximately the same, and sometimes it is difficult to distinguish them from each other unless they each have something special on them. This mod adds over 150 new settlers, so new gardeners and peat cleaners will now look at least a little more individual. And another mod, Don’t Call Me Settler, will also give them unique names.

Download

If you suddenly want to customize or change your character's appearance after you leave your home at the start of Fallout 4, you can now do so through plastic surgery. This mod allows you to perform this action in any of your settlements by simply adding a mirror to your workshop. Place a mirror on any wall and using it allows you to change your appearance.

Download

Looking after your settlement can become quite a tedious task, and even after carefully arranging all your belongings on the shelves, they will likely be knocked over later by a clumsy worker, a companion, or even you. This mod not only makes it easier to place items (loot items can now be moved just like static objects using the workshop menu), but also allows you to lock them in place to avoid falling. Perfect.

Download

The size of your settlement in Fallout 4 is strictly limited, it can only be “so” large, and you can only use “so many” objects. And this is very annoying, especially when you are about to create a huge base, and suddenly you are forced to stop. The Higher Settlement Budget mod fixes this problem, but keep in mind that too many objects can slow down or even crash your game.

Download

Like the previous mod, Homemaker expands your options for working with settlements. It includes two new plants for the garden, more walls and fences, 30 new types of lighting and new containers (ammo boxes and cabinets). You can even find meat bags if you like to store provisions in meat bags, of course. Some people do this.

While Fallout 4's appearance is definitely more colorful and less greenish than Fallout 3's, it's still a bit washed out. This ReShade/SweetFX file, after installation, will make the external dynamics of the game brighter. You can check out the images before installing to show that the changes aren't too drastic, but the pop colors are now a little more pronounced.

Download

On the other hand, perhaps you don’t think that the post-apocalypse should look so colorful and bright. Stalker Lighting takes away the colors, making the world harsher, more unforgiving, and darker. It's the end of the world, after all. And now he looks the part.

If you look closely, a lot of the textures in Fallout 4 aren't all that breathtaking, which is especially noticeable if you play through the game carefully instead of racing at top speeds. One modder has been hard at work increasing the detail of terrain textures to make your walk through the wasteland just a little more beautiful.

If you want the nights in Fallout 4 to really look like nights, then you need this mod. Giving you a choice between seven different night settings, it will make your evenings either a little darker or pitch black. Interiors will also become darker at night if they are not well lit by lights. Use it wisely.

This mod makes shell casings visible over long distances (500 meters) during firefights, and delays their disappearance time much longer (an hour). This is a small change, but adds a little realism to the game. After a big fight, the ground should literally be covered in shell casings, and now it will be. It will work well with a mod that makes the duration of the presence of bullet marks longer and visible at greater distances.

Download

On the topic of rain: someone changed the textures of the tiny and barely noticeable drops from Bethesda. The drops are now thicker and shorter, making you feel like you're in a post-apocalyptic rainstorm. The circles on the water from drops were also redone. The comparison is well shown in this video.

Gameplay improvements

Download

This mod intends to be a complete, massive collection of bug fixes for Bethesda RPGs. At the moment, there are already fixes for the placement of objects, sounds, problems with slot items, grids and textures, quests and NPCs, perks and statistics, and many more equally significant improvements. The mod never stops developing.

MGS Aiming

Download

If you are used to frequently changing the camera mode in Fallout 4, especially while aiming, then this mod will come in handy. It automatically switches from third-person to first-person when you look through the crosshairs - Metal Gear Solid-style. You no longer have to press the desired button or use the mouse wheel; The game will automatically return to normal mode after you finish shooting.

One of the main characteristics of the post-apocalyptic world is complete chaos. So why not make the surroundings look more pleasant? Commonwealth Cleanup allows you to get rid of 130,000 static items, including trash, abandoned cars, mountains of tires, vending machines, air conditioners and other junk that fills locations. At the same time, everything you decide to get rid of can be used as raw materials for crafting.

Download

The intimidation perk is fun to use to subdue enemies, but in the past it was only useful for making enemies raise their hands and stop shooting. This mod gives you new options: you can rob enemies, handcuff them, or simply let them go.

Take Cover

Download

The mod introduces a system of shelters into Fallout 4, from behind which you can peek out from time to time and take targeted shots. It can be customized to automatically hide behind cover by approaching it or pressing the appropriate key. You can even push some of the objects you hide behind. Very good.

Everyone's Best Friend

It seems a little silly that you can't take Dogmeat with you when you have another companion, doesn't it? This mod corrects the situation, thanks to which your faithful dog will always accompany you, even if you go on an adventure with another partner.

I don't even know why the developers at Bethesda decided that we would enjoy watching slowly floating text on a hundred different terminals in Fallout 4. Of course, you can click the mouse to speed up the process, or you can solve the problem once and for all by installing this mod , which allows you to set the speed at which text appears. Personally, I increased it 100 times.

Get Out Of My Face

Download

Are your allies too close? Push them away. Has a mutated cow blocked your way? Push her away. Are your opponents violating your personal space? Push them away too. Are you tired of NPCs getting stuck in doors? Or annoying heroes getting in the way? Or do you, like me, just like to push everyone around? Whatever the reason, install this mod to spectacularly push everyone around and watch them fly away. It looks like shouting "Fus ro da!" from Skyrim migrated to Fallout 4. It's great. This is incredibly cool.

Quite a useful mod, despite the dubious name (“Eat off the floor”). When you find food or drink in Fallout 4, you must first put the item in your inventory before eating or drinking it. This is logical, but not very convenient in practice - you need to open the Pip-Boy and look for the food you just found. After all, in fact, you should already be holding it in your hands. This mod allows you to immediately eat food found on a table, shelf or floor, skipping the fuss with inventory.

Would you like new companions who won't just walk around you mindlessly? You will not only be able to train animals, but you will also have the opportunity to decorate them with paint or put armor on them. You can always find them using the surveillance chip, delight them with treats and even teach them tricks.

Absolutely every player sooner or later found himself in a situation where his pockets were filled to the limit. And this is where a mod comes to the rescue, which will help you choose what to carry and what to leave. This is a small addition to your Pip-Boy's UI screen that shows the price of an item relative to its weight. Loot smarter, not harder!

If you miss the dialog boxes from the early Fallout games and aren't a fan of the new look, help is here. This mod shows full versions of your lines instead of just a faint hint of them. You will no longer have to predict how your sarcastic response will turn out, now you will know for sure.

Radiation storms are a pretty serious thing, but not enough to affect your plans. If you were expecting a more hostile world, now it will become truly scary. The damage to your health will now increase significantly: radiation sometimes increases to 100 rads, and this will happen more often.

Tired of selling a bunch of stuff to a merchant, only to later realize that he doesn't have enough caps to pay for everything, causing you to waste time searching through the merchandise for something to buy just to complete the deal? This mod increases the number of caps from merchants to such a level that he has the opportunity to buy from you all the heaps of garbage that you are going to throw at him.

Glad deer are peaceful. But they are always marked as enemies, despite the fact that they are almost never interested in attacking you. Your companions, in turn, perceive them as enemies, and frantically seek to kill them, while you simply try to pass through a certain part of the wasteland and fight creatures that will at least fight you back. This mod solves the problem by simply changing the rad deer's mark to green, so your partner will leave them alone.

Doesn't it annoy you that when your character runs around with a weapon in his hand, it is constantly visible in front of you when you play in first person? Most people don't pay any attention to this at all, but if you think about it, this method of movement should quickly tire your arms. This small change lowers your cannon when you hold it out of combat.

New locations and adventures

Pilgrim - Dread the Commonwealth

Download

Fallout 4 can be quite creepy at times, especially when you're attacked by ghouls, but it's not horror in the conventional sense. If this upsets you, then use Pilgrim-Dread the Commonwealth. It completely changes the atmosphere of the game: just watch the trailer to see how Fallout 4 turns into a cross between the Stalker series and the movie The Road. Pilgrim uses modified graphics and a weather system, which is a kind of reference to the film “The Witch” (2015) by director Robert Eggers.

If you want to turn Fallout 4 into a harsh one, then this mod will be a real discovery for you. The action here takes place immediately after the nuclear bombings. There are no quests here: your task is simple - you need to survive in deadly conditions. Most NPCs have been cut from the game, new dangerous enemies have appeared in the wasteland, and the outside world is full of radiation, so it’s better not to venture outside without protective equipment. This is a cruel, unforgiving world that should appeal to all challenge lovers.

Tired of the holotape mini-games in Fallout 4? How about a more fun alternative? Here is the Revolted mod, which features a retro shooter in the style of the 90s. The mod, created by a user under the nickname Cohagen, delights with a colorful soundtrack, amusingly overacting actors and 2D sprites stretched over 3D character models, which creates an atmosphere of nostalgia. You can find the game in a bar in Concord - on a computer terminal located on the second floor.

There are plenty of boarded-up buildings in Fallout 4—too many of them, given that the world is full of looters who should have infiltrated them long ago. The modder's ultimate goal is to detail the interior of each of these buildings, as was the case with . Thus, the game has new places where you can make money, and this makes the world a little more realistic.

This mod connects most of the subway stations in Fallout 4 with a network of tunnels, allowing you to navigate the dangerous world in a new way. Of course, the tunnels are home to ghouls, marauders and other enemies. And you need to deal with them if you want to roam underground in safety, since enemies killed in the underground do not respawn. You can also find beds there, which will come in handy if you decide to settle in the metro.

Have you played Fallout 4 a few times and now want something new in terms of role-playing? Alternate Start allows you to skip the standard intro and start the game as someone else. You can start the game as a newcomer to Goodneighbor, a raider or mercenary, a member of the Church of Atom, or a passenger on a sunken ship. This will be a fresh start and a new way to play the game.

Weapons and equipment

Remote Explosives

Download

The more ways to blow up enemies, the more fun it is to play, and therefore this mod will definitely not be superfluous. From now on, you will be able to detonate all types of explosives remotely. All you have to do is hide a bomb in someone’s clothes, move a decent distance away and activate the detonator.

This is clearly a parody of Bethesda's Creation Club, a tool that creates items and equipment that are sold for real money. But this mod itself is quite funny. It adds a golf club that creates random (and free) things with every swing. And when you get tired of it, the stick can be used for its intended purpose - to destroy enemies.

Fusion Gun

Download

Do you have extra nuclear blocks accumulated? Now you can use them to craft ammo for new weapons (in fact, this is a set of several types of weapons). Initially, the Fusion Gun mod gives us a new pistol, but over time it can be turned into any gun - from a shotgun to a sniper or assault rifle. The trailer shows all the variety of the new toy.

If you don't like opaque sights and the short screen blackout when you want to use them, check out this mod. Now all sights on weapons in the game become transparent. You can either add new sights or change existing ones. You can even customize the appearance of sights in the game itself.

Modder DOOM has been releasing new weapons for Fallout 4 for months, but now he's collected all 10 of them into one set. You'll find assault rifles, a Desert Eagle, a MAC-11 submachine gun, and even a replica of Deckard's personal pistol from Blade Runner.

We all love explosives in Fallout 4. And we'd love them even more if frag grenades actually sprayed shrapnel. This mod corrects this oversight, making grenades behave as they should. From now on, simple explosions are replaced by deadly scattering of fragments around the area, so do not forget to hide in shelters to avoid taking damage.

If you're not a big fan of the Pip-Boy's built-in flashlight, which dimly illuminates your surroundings, you can use the same shoulder-mounted flashlight as the Marines in the movie Aliens. I think you will notice that it functions much better. Moreover, you can not only purchase it from merchants, but also make it yourself at your workbench. You can even choose the color of the lighting to suit your taste.

What's wrong with leather jackets, why can't you attach parts of the armor with belts to, for example, a good evening suit? In addition to the ability to wear any outfit under your armor, you can also wear a hat or helmet complete with a gas mask, you can place armored pads on your hat, and even craft a completely new outfit. This mod was created using FO4Edit.

This well-animated crossbow is a nice addition to your already large arsenal, and it's not just a regular, static weapon. It can be upgraded using your workbench, crafting, and using many different types of bolts as projectiles. The crossbow is quiet and ideal for stealth kills, and its high damage is offset by its slow reload speed, so the addition will keep the game balanced.

Any Mod Any Weapon

Download

If you want to take wasteland carnage to a whole new level, then this mod will allow you to create weapons from your worst dreams. It allows you to install any weapon upgrade on any weapon. Now you can make a three-barreled minigun electric, install Fat Man on an alien laser pistol, or make any other Frankenstein weapon that your imagination can imagine. And this video from Tyrannicon will show you a few more options.

You can build a variety of things at your workstations, everything from weapon upgrades to meds. drugs and pomegranate. But why not shells? This mod allows you to craft any type of ammunition in the game at your chemical stations: shotguns, signal flares, miniature nuclear warheads, fuel for a flamethrower and much more that you can remember or come up with (unless it’s something completely unreal, for example tomato moon-piercing cartridges).

But to do something worthwhile, you need to pump up such parameters as Gun Nut, Science and Demolition.

Tools and Utilities

Nexus Mod Manager

Download

NMM is compatible with Fallout 4, and as time goes on, mods become more and more necessary, so this will come in handy. In addition, it is compatible with other RPG games, such as The Witcher 3, Dark Souls 1 and 2, and World of Tanks. Which makes installing and working with mods via Nexus extremely enjoyable.

Fallout 4 Script Extender

Download

As Fallout 4 modding becomes more popular, so does the Fallout 4 Script Extender. This utility allows you to use mods without changing the game's executable files, so even if something goes wrong with the mod, it will not affect the game.
